Bliss and Tantra this Sunday eve 29 March

Hello beloveds,

The Hevajra Tantra says: "In the absence of the body where is there bliss, for without the body it is impossible to speak about bliss. The world is pervaded by bliss, the world and bliss being mutually dependent."

In embracing the experience of being in a body, we enter a state of bliss. And yet, for most of us, our relationships with our bodies and our sexuality is not that blissful. Tantra is a path that uses the totality of your experience for your awakening to the bliss of pure presence. This Sunday evening, Rahasya, director of the Advait Tantraschool, is giving an introductory talk on Tantra after a viewing of the film Bliss. The film gives a beautiful viewing of the depth of freedom and release that can come from engaging sexuality in the light of consciousness and presence.

Viewing of the film Bliss and
Introduction to Tantra
by Rahasya, Director of the School of Advait Tantra
Sunday 29 March 7 - 11pm
Phakalane, Hout Bay

Join us for an introduction to and discussion on Tantra, the art of conscious sexuality. The evening is framed around a viewing and discussion of the film Bliss which aptly illustrates some of the ways in which Tantra is practiced in our school. The film is described as an "audaciously honest look at sexual intimacy and emotional risk." A strong theme in the film is the process of sexual healing or the integration of repressed experience.

If you are interested in the relationship between intimacy, sex and consciousness, this evening is for you. No previous knowledge of Tantra is required. though there are layers of meaning revealed in this work that will be of great interest to those of you who have been doing work with us already.
